TECHNIQUES

We use a number of highly-effective adjusting approaches to help improve the way your spine moves and help reduce interference to your nervous system. The approach we use is based on our judgment and years of experience. The primary adjusting technique we use is Neuromuscular activation or NIP, kineseotaping, and dry needling. Manipulation is only used if the subluxation is of a mechanical nature.

NEUROIMPULSE PROTOCOL or NIP.

This technique is the treatment of choice at Cape Chiro and is the least invasive of the techniques.

NeuroImpulse Protocol was originally designed for use with babies and for a number of years was confined to use in that age group. As development progressed it soon became evident that the technique was just as applicable to the adult population.

Along with its gentleness (you can tolerate the thrust on your eyeball!), the NIP method directs us to exactly the right location to adjust. It does this by its highly sophisticated integration of very precise chiropractic assessment techniques and detailed neurological examination.

The adjustment may be to your spine, pelvis, limbs or cranium and following your adjustment you will immediately be able to see the difference in body function. Increased range of movement and increased muscle strength reveal a nervous system working free of interference.
